History
In 2018 public revelation of the stargate program was initiated. The war with the Ori had raged on for many years and the realization was that only full planetary support of this war could sustain Earth's ongoing involvement against the Ori.
Several months after the SGC, Gate travel, SG1, the Asgard, the Goauld, Atlantis and all of the other things was revealed to the public earth was put in some very difficult times. In 2019 Earth officially pulled out of all military alliances due to internal power struggles that would affect our ability to combat the Ori on behalf of the Milky Way galaxy.
In 2022 Earth's withdrawal form the war ceased, the Ori attacked Earth in force. Despite their absence in recent years, all of the Milky Way offered assistance. The Jaffa, Hebridens, Tokra, Asgard all sent ships and warriors to save earth and the IOA demanded the last remaining ZPM from Atlantis be brought to earth. Almost every ship in the Milky Way witnessed the awesome power earth still commanded when the outpost and allied fleet destroyed over 30 Ori warships, most of the Ori fleet. This effectively meant the end of the current Ori war, much as it had done with Anubis, the outpost set the Ori back decades in pursuit of galactic domination.
Earth mobilized its forces, political unrest halted, in light of recent events and the Ori were chased from this galaxy by a fleet of Earth and Asgard Ships. It was over for good, and much like with anubis a power vacuum ensued. The Tau'ri decided now was the time to strike out; it opened gate travel to the private sector and earth's now 10billion people spewed forth in to the galaxy to make their claim on the territory their armies had won twice over.
Along with the Tau'ri another race made a claim to the new freedom and land; the Aschen. The Aschen confederation had been destroyed by the events of 2001, a black hole had they dialed killed over 38billion people in their home solar system, their empire had fell...Now in 2025, the Aschen had recovered and were making a power play like no other; they were going to undermine the Tau'ri's claim as the supreme human race in this galaxy. As both races represented advanced human cultures, and with the galaxy of over a trillion humans, both races have the ability to expand greater than ever before, who will you ally yourself with, who will triumph...

Know your enemies:
Mollem - Mollem was the ambassador to earth in both accounts of the two races interacting. He is an important official and represents the interests of many other worlds. He has the authority to command military action against a potential ally without consulting any other member of his government. He also has deep resentment for the Tau'ri and their ways, he is a strong supporter of an Aschen/Tau'ri war.

Borren- Borren is the commanding Aschen of the agrarian people the Vollians. The agricultural prosperity of this planet make him responsible for the Aschen primary means of food production.

Jarrun - Jarren is commander of a elite intelligence unit, he was responsible for the interrogation of the SGC personnel and the use of the star gate to gather intel and move his growing army has led to him being one of the most wanted of the Aschen confederation, he has not shared the star gate travel information with the AC members and therefore is a traitor. but one who if raided has valuable intelligence.

Narlam - She is the Aschen confederation's chief minister, she has been responsible for rebirth of the entire political and administrative structure of the Aschen confederation and largely responsible via her skilled and loyal generals for the repossession of old AC assets. She has huge military and political strength and as the leader of Aschen she is by far the most powerful threat of the Tau'ri. In addition, her brother was the scientist who dialed the black hole, her personal and political motivations for the destruction of earth are limitless.

Vorrim - He is one of the only surviving generals of old confederation, he has been in command of Aschen forces on every scale for over 70 years, his troops and ships number millions. If the Aschen attack earth, he will lead the charge. all military forces are answerable to him and the military might he can call in to action is unstoppable. Only the strongest empire would succeed in attacking him, but if they did, the military technology he utilises is Worth the risk for it is many time more advanced than otherAschen.

Periac - He is business man, his empire is relatively small but he controls large areas of private sector within the AC. Ore and tourism as well as military contracts are all under his area of expertise. He is by the far the single richest man in the galaxy and the resources, if he was attacked are there for the taking. His planets are well defended however.

The Lucian Alliance: the Lucian alliance uses a mid sized fleet of Goauld vessels to exert their power over the galaxy in various forms, they are generally intensive farmers or drug runners but are known for vessel pirating, spying and outright combat. Survivors of the Ori war they have technology that represents the need to survive in the tough times, they have powerful weapons and their cargo is usually less valuable than attacking, however their spies, if caught provide valuable information.

The Hebridan Smuggler Golon Jarlath:
The Hebridans are an advanced capitalist society with technology that is very advanced, earth and its Allys have grown to respect the Hebridans as a people but smaller operations such as the one Golon Jarlath runs are outlawed for they pirate mining colony's and official business of the Hebriban leaders the tech con group. Pirating these rouge organisations is not punishable under the Tau'ri/Hebridan alliance however the rewards are great, these pirates are commercial traders and carry high value cargo and technology. However their leader is a weapon expert so be careful.
